Audio processing

Uploaded, recorded, or linked audio is processed so VoiceNoteToText can return a transcript to your browser. The core product does not require a WhatsApp, Meta, Apple, Google, or messaging-platform login.

Lightweight analytics metadata

The inspected audit storage records lightweight request metadata for reliability and product analytics. This may include file size, MIME type, language, duration when available, word count, confidence when available, status, provider, runtime, error code, and timestamp. The inspected audit model does not store the full audio file or full transcript text.

Transcript handling

The transcript is returned to your browser so you can review, copy, or download it. After you copy or download a transcript, you control where that text is stored, pasted, emailed, or shared.

Sensitive content

Do not upload confidential, regulated, client, legal, medical, financial, or private audio unless you have the right to process it and are comfortable using this workflow. Transcription makes speech easier to copy and share, so consider the sensitivity of both the original recording and the resulting text.

We use Google AdSense to display ads on VoiceNoteToText. Google AdSense and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show relevant ads, measure ad performance, and help prevent fraud. You can manage your personalized ad preferences through your Google account ad settings or your browser settings.
